IMPACT
01 — Impact

“The entire program was phenomenal. Every lesson involved examples, roleplays and interactive exchanges of thoughts and feelings. The exactness of what makes a leader, what being a leader requires and what outcomes being an exemplary leader can deliver were outlined so beautifully. […] To bring about significant mindset change in an individual in a holistic manner is no easy feat.”

“Shyam not only facilitated me with the learnings and activities to become a better leader […] but also in life. His program has been one of the best learnings I have had in my entire career. […] His classes were never boring and I never came out of the class without even a single learning.”

EUROPE
04 — Europe cohort

Frameworks that survived contact with the job.

“The frameworks weren't theoretical. I found myself using several of them (particularly around coaching, decision-making and communication) almost immediately in my day-to-day role. […] By the end, it felt like a complete leadership toolkit rather than six unrelated topics.”

Leadership cohort · EMEA · 2025

CRITICISM
05 — The criticism

What participants asked us to change.

The requests that came up most often, published unedited. They are reproduced here because of what they have in common.

01

“I would recommend at least 3 weeks for this program to be optimal.”

02

“Could have been 3-4 week learning […] felt the concepts were taken through a lot faster.”

03

“The improvement would be to extend these sessions. We have worked on a lot of case studies and working on more case studies would have been amazing.”

04

“While I understand the need to compress the program into a single day, I believe its impact could have been even greater had it been spread over 2–3 days.”

05

“I found every part of the program valuable, and would especially welcome more sessions led by Shyam.”

06

“Shyam can facilitate some TL's, Managers and Leads already working on the floor as well.”

07

“It would have been useful to spend a little more time hearing the facilitator's perspective on the discussion — whether there was a recommended approach, common pitfalls, or key takeaways to reinforce the learning.”

08

“Maybe consider shorter delivery period with 1 part being more intensively scheduled trainings and 1 part longer to have time to test & implement the newly learned approaches and methods.”

09

“We can probably have some follow up videos to the course […] to have a continuous learning.”

Nobody asked for less. They asked for more room to apply it.

Method

Source: participant survey data, 33 responses across three 2025 cohorts — a leadership cohort (Aug–Sep 2025, n=11), a capability co-design workshop (Jul 2025, n=16), and an EMEA leadership programme (2025, n=6). Client organization names, programme names and all colleague and facilitator names have been removed under NDA and will not be restored. No role titles exist in the source data and none have been inferred; sector, seniority band and year is the maximum claim made for any quote. Every quote is reproduced verbatim — cuts marked “[…]”, clarifying insertions in square brackets. Nothing has been rewritten or corrected. Scores are drawn from the survey instrument: 100% would recommend across all three cohorts. Facilitator expertise scored 5.00 of 5 in the EMEA cohort — every respondent, top mark.
