New service line — Work Intelligence

From programs.
To a capability operating system.

Every large operation already generates the signal it needs to see capability continuously — in its dialers, CRMs, quality tools, learning platforms and HR systems. Almost none of them connect that signal at the level of the person.

Work Intelligence is an AI intelligence layer over the systems a client already runs, designed bottom-up from the individual. It turns capability from something managed in arrears and by bucket into a continuous, predictive, people-first signal.

01 — The opportunity

Capability is generated daily and read quarterly.

Frontline leaders generate hours of operational signal a day across five or more systems. It is captured, rarely connected, and never read as capability. What exists instead is the bucket: met target, missed target, top, middle, bottom quartile. Those answer the ranking question. They never answer the capability question for the individual.

Learning is delivered as events and measured by satisfaction in the room. The twenty-one days after a program are the highest-leverage reinforcement window in the entire cycle, and the least instrumented part of it.

Three structural shifts make this the moment. Enterprise AI is now inside the building — most organisations have an approved assistant and internal teams already working on conversation data. Behavioural architectures already exist in mature capability functions: competency models, indicators, rubrics, calibration. And operations leaders have stopped asking for more training and started asking for predictability. What is missing is not data or AI. It is the design discipline that connects the two at the level of the person.

02 — The loop

Sense. Connect. Predict. Act.

SENSE

Capability signals from quality scores, call transcripts, system behaviour, conversion, tenure, learning records and HR events — each read where it already sits.

CONNECT

One living capability record per associate, team leader and trainer, mapped to the organisation’s own competency and indicator model.

PREDICT

Readiness, risk and next-best intervention per person per week — explainable to the indicator and the timestamp.

ACT

Proactive nudges to the individual, the leader and the manager inside the tools they already use. Every correction becomes new signal.

Human-in-the-loop by design: the system recommends, leaders decide. The outputs are a capability trajectory per cohort, a weekly readiness view for every leader, and one number finance can read — attrition and ramp cost avoided.

03 — Five surfaces

One engine, five places it lands.

Learning & OD
Continuous reinforcement after every program; cohorts connected to learning, quality and HR data; trajectory visible.
Head of L&D / OD
Operations
Precision coaching at individual level; person-specific recommendations replace cluster-based refreshers.
Operations / Delivery
Leadership assessment
Independent, evidence-based assessment: psychometrics plus observed behaviour, calibrated and normed.
CHRO / Talent
Trainer & quality
Certification rubrics, observations and calibration as a live quality-intelligence view.
Training / Quality
Client & account
Business-review narratives powered by people intelligence.

Sequencing matters: L&D activates fastest on data it already owns, operations carries the largest value, assessment is the most recurring. One 120-day activation covers the first two. See all five in the map →

04 — Under the hood

Sovereign, compact, built on the stack they already own.

Capability scoring is a classification problem — recognising a defined set of behavioural indicators the way a client’s best quality analysts and trainers do. That makes it well suited to compact private models and to the enterprise AI stack most clients already run. The engineering is deliberately modest. The value is in the design.

Ontology
The client’s competency model translated into observable indicators, anchor statements and evidence rules. This is the asset; everything else is plumbing.
Calibration
Real examples scored by calibrated raters under a Gage R&R-style protocol. Reliability over correctness: the system, not the individual, defines the standard.
Model layer
Either the client’s approved enterprise assistant and agents, or a compact open-weight model (7–8B class) fine-tuned on their own labelled data and served inside their tenancy. Swappable by design.
Learning loop
Every manager correction becomes new signal. Monthly re-tuning; drift and bias checked against human calibration.

No workforce data leaves the client. No external model is trained on it. The capability graph and the ontology are the enduring asset — owned by the client, on the balance sheet, not in a subscription.

05 — Guardrails

What this is not.

Not a ranking engine

People-first by design

An enablement engine. The system surfaces and explains; leaders decide. Every person can see the signal that describes them.

Not a data export

Sovereign by design

Everything runs inside the client boundary. Transcription inside the boundary; retrieval inside the boundary; no external training.

Not a black box

Explainable by design

Every score traces to the indicator and the timestamp that produced it, against a standard the client wrote.

Not a platform sale

Stack-agnostic by design

Works on top of whatever the client has approved. SSUNDAR designs the intelligence; the client’s technology team hosts it.

Start with one floor.

The 120-day activation takes one process, one leader and one number. Data access from day one is the single accelerator, and there is a decision gate at day 90 before anything scales.
